Growing up, I've always had a huge passion for reading!
When I was around 13/14, I stumbled into the genres of business, finance and economics.
And my mind was blown.
I was learning things would never even imagine existed! New ways of looking at things!
But here's the shift... When I'd go school, I'd learn one thing.
But when I self-studied from books, it was something completely different... that actually sometimes contradicted the formal curriculum.
Funnily enough, the stuff I was learning from books was also matching up with what I was seeing in the real world. And some time later... Covid hit! I saw a ton of my family friends become redundant. And it really lit up a desire in me. To want to go into business. I didn't know how or what, but that desire still sparked.
Fast forward some time: I met my first mentor. And this really accelerated my growth. That desire started to become reality. I was learning more and more. Until he encouraged me to then go out, and start my own business in Leicester.
So there I was. School from 9am to 3pm. And working on the business from 3pm to 8pm. Every. Single. Day. Was it hard? Yes! Was it intensive? Yes! Even to the case where, I'd walk around to a hidden bench on the school playground at lunch time, just so I could fit sales calls into my busy schedule.
Until I then finished formal education last year. And took business full time, where I've been blessed to win an award, speak on stages, and also expand business across the sea into Canada!
The 3 Pivotal keys that I wish I knew sooner...
Essential for a young person starting in business
